Step 1: Untie the the elastic ribbon

Step 2: Stretch the ribbon around the entire book and tie into a knot (this ensures that the bookmark will not need adjusting during your read)

Step 3: Start reading your book! (This is essential, obviously)

Step 4: When you’re ready to mark your page, slip the ribbon over the section you’ve read, with the wooden part on the outside of the book

Step 5: Keep reading your book (still essential), with the bookmark on or off as you please.

Step 6: Once you finish the book, begin the process over with a new book!
